Art Historians and professors Michelle Paluch-Mishur and Jeff Mishur incorporated Art Excursions, Inc. in July 1998.

The company's mission is to provide a complete service to individuals who are interested in experiencing and learning about world famous art, architecture and culture.

Art Excursions provides educational and enjoyable slide lectures on art, architecture, sculpture, culture, history and special exhibits for groups, clubs, libraries, retirement communities, businesses and other organizations. Please use the slide lectures link on our home page to learn about lectures you can attend. Please contact us if you would like to schedule a lecture or would like more information on the types of lecture topics we have available. We can also design and present custom lectures.

Art Excursions also offers a variety of small group tours designed to bring interested people face-to-face with art treasures in the United States (including the Chicago-area). Tour offerings will be updated on our web-site regularly. We can also design and present custom tours for pre-organized groups and travel agents. Art Excursions is a member of the Chicago Conventions and Tourism Bureau. If you are interested in traveling to Chicago or will be visiting the city for a convention or other meeting, considering contacting us. We provide individual, spousal and participant tours of Chicago art museums, architecture that will make your visit to Chicago a memorable one. We can also arrange for tickets to concerts, theater or sporting events; make dining recommendations and reservations; suggest and reserve accommodations; make travel arrangements to and from the city; and suggest itineraries.

We promise to provide opportunities to see and learn about wonderful special exhibitions, world-famous art treasures, and great cultural cities within a small group led by scholars that make touring enjoyable & worry-free.
